BA (Psychology) University of Puerto Rico, Puerto Rico (USA)PhD (Clinical Psychology), Centro Caribeño de Estudios Postgraduados, San Juan, PR (USA) María Vélez Pastrana is a licensed clinical psychologist in Puerto Rico. She is an Associate Professor at Universidad Carlos Albizu in San Juan, PR and a Co-investigator in the NIDA funded research project titled: The dimensional assessment of ADHD and SUD in an incarcerated Latino sample, at the University of Puerto Rico, Graduate School of Public Health. Her research interests include attention deficit/ hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), executive functioning and self-regulation, and sensation seeking.
